Job Description

As the AutoMist Commercial Leader for Restaurant Technologies, this role is responsible for launching AutoMist across all 41 depots and developing and executing the commercial strategy in all segments. The AutoMist Commercial Leader will work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Learning and Development to deliver a successful product rollout. Through market research, product sales programs and marketing communication, the AutoMist Commercial Leader is responsible for ensuring that all depots are selling our AutoMist solution by mid-2020 with installations exceeding 6,000 per year.

Key Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the AutoMist commercial strategy for the business, in partnership with key sales leaders including the Senior VP of Sales 
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in target customer accounts
  • Responsible for pricing concepts 
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a highly skilled commercial team – both direct reports and influencing others
  • Technical sales experience:  This leader and team will provide feedback to technicians, and engineers to ensure AutoMist applications meet product specifications and customer expectations. Participate in identifying, prospecting and closing sales with key sales personnel 
  • Assist internal regulatory teams with state and local approval processes as a product expert
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to develop and rollout training for all levels of the sales organization
  • Develop tools to verify and validate that the RT Sales and Marketing teams are prepared to sell AutoMist into new and existing customers
  • Achieve commercial expectations of the organization and work with agility to creatively position product into new market
Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Marketing, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field required..
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of Seven (7) plus year’s proven experience in Sales, Product Management or related experience
  • Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience leading a team with successful results
  • Proven experience in developing strategic plans and executing to a successful result
  • Ability to quickly and creatively solve complex customers issues that arise 
  • Ability to manage a remote team
  • Experience in budgeting and managing a P&L statement
  • Continuous Improvement experience
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer skills.
  • Quantitative and business analysis skills
  • Ability to travel out of state up  75% of the time
  • Advanced computer skills & ability to use software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
