Job Description

As the Operations Director with Restaurant Technologies, you will be responsible for defining the overarching operational strategy, service execution and implementation plan for our new product offering called AutoMist.  AutoMist, an automated hood, flue and fan cleaning system, prevents the hazardous build-up of grease in food service kitchens. AutoMist automatically cleans daily through a spray mixture of detergent and water keeping the hood system consistently clean and greatly reducing the risk of fire. You will be tasked with determining how to integrate that product platform into our current operating model.   You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in all operational facets of the AutoMist solution, including but not limited to: national deployment plan, supply chain strategies, ongoing service model, ongoing engineering support and internal/external customer satisfaction.  A key aspect of this role will be to identify the short and long term operating platform for AutoMist with a vision on how the company’s service platform will need to evolve prior to the product rolling out nationally. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to operate and demonstrate leadership across many cross-functional groups as well as the field operations teams, drive growth while identifying operational efficiencies, and be both a high-level strategic thinker and a roll-up your sleeves operator.  The main accountabilities of this role will be focused on Operational Strategy, People Leadership, Customer Service and Safety & Operational Excellence.


  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 7years within a leadership role in Operations or Product Management within a Field Service Company
  • 10+ years’ experience in field service operations
  • 10+ years’ experience managing people
  • Proven track record in managing customer service challenges which result in mutual wins=
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record in achieving financial and operational results
  • Self- aware- knows strengths and weaknesses and actively pursues ways to improve
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 75%
  • Masters degree
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification
